Maybe we all were.
Maybe no one’s steering.
But if I’m writing, maybe I am”

Hi. Hello. I’m Madison and I am the problem around here.

I’m writing a book:

TITLE UN-RELEASED

I know, not another book to add to your To Be Read(TBR) list. Who am I even to write one? I’m not famous.
I’m no stand-up comedian or late-night host. Nor do I play any sport on a prime-time slot, and I’m not known around the seven kingdoms by name.
Bear with me, though. My writing, well, it’s a mix of self-help, extraneous extrapolations, and humor. Offering insights from my wild journeys through life’s explosive episodes (some literal).

I also write poetry, dabble in art, and whisk my wife away into bookstores.

Why? Well, why not?

Coming from a family of engineers yikes, I needed a creative outlet. After over a decade and rough years of surgeries and recoveries, I decided to explore the extraordinary instead of letting fear consume me. That’s how There’s A Site was born.

With a life filled with the unexplainable, the unimaginable, I need a way to process that yes, this truly did happen.

My writing style may be a little unorthodox, much like almost everything about me is. Growing up in a rural area with few local bookstores, stories became my escape from the unexplainable.
While I try to keep up with doctor’s appointments and life’s plentiful demands, a lot of my pen-to-paper has to happen on the go.

I often have one of those. Lots of them. Usually, it’s not a very good one. But when it is I write it down somewhere for later and share it with you. Usually in this big blue notebook I carry around covered in ⚠️Danger Laser Radiation Beam ⚠️ stickers.

Or Making Lists

I’ve spent the last decade hoarding the internet’s weird, wonderful, and wildly useful corners — now you get the keys to the stash. Dive in, click around, and see what sparks joy.

I trudge through the lack of motivation learning to tackle writing and websites while wrangling a whole pack of animals at home.

Pet tax included:

What About You

But wait, there’s more! This isn’t just about me—it’s about you, too.

For those tirelessly searching but never quite finding what they’re looking for, for those with invisible disabilities, peculiar sensibilities, or unusual abilities, this is for you. I write because being seen is part of our human journey.
Maybe you’ll see something in mine.
